Cannot Activate IP Watcher

I puchased a single user license. I am running Windows 7. Downloaded and installed IP Watcher 3.0.0.30.

When IP Watcher starts I click the 'Enter Product Key" and enter my name and the key I received from gearboxcomputes.com. The dialog displays "Activating..." and then returns to the "IP Watcher (Trial Version)" dialog where it stills indicates I am running a trial version. The only way to start the app is to click the "Continue Trial" button. When I right click the icon in the system tray and choose "Show IP Watcher", the dialog it displays indicates "Unregistered Trial Version".

What do I need to do to activate?

Received following from tech support. It fixed the issue.

Activation:

To activate the software you will need to make sure you are running it with administrator privileges.
For Vista / 7 Operating System:
---------------------------
Right-Click on the system tray icon and select "Exit" from the popup-menu. Next, Right-Click on the program icon on the desktop and select "Run As Administrator". Now you will be able to activate with no problems.
For Windows XP / 2000:
---------------------------
Login to an account with administrator privileges. Now you will be able to activate with no problems
