Not showing external IP address

I am having troubles with IP watcher showing my external IP address. If will show my internal but never the external. I have not found any documentation that states ports used or what may needed to be configured for my firewall or security settings. The software was downloaded and installed from the link included with my receipt. I would like to use this with more of my customers so any help would be nice.
